Dream it. Do it.

In 2016, the Bay Area chapter of the Dream it. Do it. network was formed by the East Bay Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (EBAMP) in collaboration with the California Community Colleges, the Manufacturing Institute, and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).

Dream It. Do It. works to change the perception of the industry and inspire next-generation workers to pursue manufacturing careers. The initiative offers local manufacturers, schools, community-based organizations and other stakeholders the opportunity to partner with a respected national platform to promote manufacturing as a top tier career choice in the United States. Dream It. Do It. promotes manufacturing to three distinct target markets: student, parents and educators.

Since the Bay Area chapter’s inception in 2016, seventeen ambassadors from five companies have interacted with over 650 students, more than 30 educators, and others through classroom discussions and career fairs in Martinez, Pittsburg, Clayton, Oakland, San Lorenzo, and Hayward.

AMBayArea continues to coordinate this successful ambassador program with community and national partners.
